Chusclan
This vineyard, which covers the Cèze valley and climbs the surrounding hillsides, constitutes the Côtes du Rhône Villages Chusclan. It was recognized within the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages in 1967 for the rosés and in 1971 for the reds.

Description
The Côtes du Rhône Villages Chusclan extend over 5 communes: Chusclan, Codolet, Orsan, Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts and Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
The history of the village dates back to the Bronze Age, it was inhabited there from that time.
Its wines have been renowned for a long time.

Aromas
The red wines are supple, soft and have a taste of red fruits and spices. The rosé wines of Chusclan have aromas of grapefruit and wild fruit.
Grape varieties
Grenache noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre are the main grape varieties. As a complementary grape variety, we find Carignan, which is grown in abundance in Chusclan.
The rosés are made from Cinsault and Grenache noir, but above all from a rare grape variety, specific to the Rhône Valley, Clairette rose.
