Côtes du Rhône official partner of the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival 2024
AOC Côtes du Rhône Wines, on the track at the 27th Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival
Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival 2024
In 2024, a big first for the AOC Côtes du Rhône wines, which are joining the great team of partners of the Alpe d'Huez Festival!
Conviviality, quality, accessibility, notoriety... so many values that the Festival and the wine appellation share and unite. Partners of the Avignon Festival, the Lyon Street Food Festival and Jazz à Vienne, the winegrowers and merchants of the Côtes du Rhône appellation are committed to meeting consumers where they live, have fun and learn.
Cinema & wine: passion, patience and transmission of emotions
The director works meticulously on the development of his script like the winemaker works, month after month, on the cultivation of his vines. Just as the blend must be scrupulously thought out for the success of a vintage, the composition of the casting constitutes a fundamental element in the success of a film. The analogy between the creation of a vintage and that of a film does not stop there. In any case, it pursues the same ambition: to transmit a thousand and one emotions to those who linger there.
The vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages
Along the meanders of the river, the Côtes du Rhône vineyard flourishes in 172 communes and rich and varied terroirs, under the same generous sun. Over nearly 200 km from north to south, between Vienne and Avignon, their capital, the hillside landscapes gradually give way to plains.
Within the Côtes du Rhône appellation, a classification has been set up to promote the quality and specificities of certain terroirs. This AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages, based on the soil/climate association, is officially regulated and allows 22 geographical names to be specified on the label. The requirements of the appellation give them a certain distinction and a lot of personality.
In 2024, a breath of fresh air on the Côtes du Rhône
In 2024, the AOC Côtes du Rhône "enters the campaign" on the serving temperature of wines and on the need to taste them, always in moderation, but fresh. This consumption at a reasonable temperature, has undeniable and essential advantages, in particular better drinkability, a more real respect for the work of the winemaker, a better appreciation of the wine and a thirst-quenching side.
Authentic, secret and festive, the wines of the AOC Côtes du Rhône are definitely plural as much in the diversity of their profiles as in the conditions of their consumption!
