Appreciated for centuries for their freshness, the wines of Côtes du Rhône Villages Valréas have seduced Pope John XXII. Legend has it that, exhausted by his journey, Pope John XXII drank a glass of Valréas and it restored his health and energy.

The Pope was so charmed by these wines that he decided to annex the lands from which they came so as to never run out.
