Description
The vineyard extends over 5 Vaucluse communes: Vaison-la-Romaine, Saint-Marcellin-lès-Vaison, Villedieu, Buisson and Saint-Roman-de-Malegarde.
The vines appeared thanks to the Romans. There are many ancient remains in the village, hence the name "La Romaine".
Its exposure and its terroir offer local winegrowers a wide choice for planting their vines, whether in full sun or more shade, open to the wind or on the contrary sheltered. These different possibilities have offered red wines that combine generosity and elegance for over 2,000 years.
