Séguret
Recognized as part of the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages in 1967, Séguret is also one of the most beautiful villages in France. It sits proudly at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, a famous mountain spur of the Côtes du Rhône. Its name comes from the Provençal word meaning "safe".

Description
The AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret extends over the entire commune of Séguret, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the Vaucluse.
Séguret is among the largest Named Villages. Some of the vineyards surround the village, others are on the hillside down to the river below, and others almost climb the side of the mountain, directly into the Dentelles.
The variety of the terroir on which the village of Séguret extends allows for a range of balanced, lively red wines.
The denomination also produces almost as much white wine as rosé. They combine freshness and intensity of flavors.
Séguret is the first Named Village in terms of production of rosé wines.
