Rochegude
The Côtes du Rhône Villages Rochegude vineyard has been recognized within the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages since 1967.
The history of the Rochegude vineyard began 2,000 years ago with mentions of it by Emperor Domitian as early as the 1st century AD.

Description
The Côtes du Rhône Villages de Rochegude vineyard extends only over the commune of Rochegude in the south of the Drôme.
The richness of its terroir between rocky hillsides and lands of sand, clay and flint allows for varied styles of red wine as well as white and rosé.
The wines of the appellation are recognized by wine lovers. It should be noted that Thomas Jefferson, former American president, fell under the spell of these wines during a visit to the region at the end of the 18th century.

Aromas
The red wines are dense, very colorful and structured. They have notes of ripe fruit evolving towards grilled and woody aromas at the end of the aging.
The white wines are balanced and fruity, with a beautiful aromatic intensity with fruity notes.
